(973) 969-2080 - Premier Travel Experience Agency - More Fun, More Magic, More Memories!

I bet you never realized how fun it is to golf with your family while visiting Walt Disney World! Plus for only $20 9-hole tee time charge and free rentals for children, it’s a great way to take a break from the parks and start your day with a swing!

Here are the reasons why my family loved golfing at Walt Disney World and why we will golf again:

– Reasonable Cost to Play.

Did you know that children’s golf equipment (Junior US Kids) is complimentary! Juniors ages 18 and under, can wear their sneakers, wear a polo shirt and shorts and head to the course and head to the course of choice.  They ask that kids do not wear denim. Adults can rent clubs at a minimal charge of ONLY $20 per person.  There is no need to bring your clubs from home, well only unless you don’t mind renting and are not attached to them.

The tee time costs for juniors is about half the cost for adults for all courses, which most families may not know.

An Oak trail tee time is $39.90 for adults and $20 for juniors. The other three courses offer an 18-hole game, charging $99 for adults before 2:00pm and $72 after, the fee for juniors on remains at $49.50 for any tee time during the day.

 – Professional Golf Course.

Way more fun than playing mini-golf!  PGA tour quality.

– Wild Life All Around the Course (Oak Trail and Lake Buena Vista).

Both Oak Trail and Lake Buena Vista courses are considered Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuaries.  You can find wild turkeys, peacocks, deer, various birds, ducks, turtles and even an alligator roaming around these courses.

* Always keep in mind there are normally various promotions always available to guests staying on Disney property and the costs noted above can be even less.

* Lessons are available for all ages, year round and summer camps are available for children.

Our Game at Oak Trail:

As a family of 5, my husband and eldest son (14) were paired with another father son team and I played with my 10 and 5 year old boys.

Oak Trail is a walking course, and once we got our clubs they gave each of us carts hold all our equipment and gear. I have to say, it was a beautiful course and easy to walk from hole to hole even with a 5 year old.

Wonderful staff on the course – I was nervous at first because was golfing with my two young boys who might have just wanted to hit the ball around. Also I was afraid we would be asked to move aside so other golfers could go ahead of us however neither was the case, the boys tried their best and we all had a great time. The staff was so helpful. They actually drove around to check on us, ask if we needed water and answered our questions about the game and iron numbers. My boys were thrilled to chat with the experienced staff and learned so much more about the game.

I have to honestly say that our families’ golf outing to Oak Trail was a true tranquil escape from the busy theme parks. We saw turkeys, deer, an alligator, lots of birds and actually heard fireworks…Disney must have been testing the fireworks somewhere behind the golf course.
